If you dream of being able to walk into your music class with materials already prepared at the click of a mouse… then this could be the most important webpage you´ll ever visit….

If you are like most music teachers:

  • You are under incredible pressure to prepare lessons, write band arrangements, write music lesson plans and write reports
  • You’ve got no time to even think about the theory lessons there is far too much else to do. You certainly won´t have time to prepare your own theory worksheets!
  • You´ve got limited resources and a very limited budget to buy new materials. On this page you´ll discover important resources that can really help you.

Dear Music Teaching Friend,

My name is Janice Tuck, and I understand how you feel. You see, I´ve been a music teacher in a variety of teaching situations for the last 15 years. I´ve worked in schools with no budget and no resources, right through to schools where I had a full curriculum to follow.

It doesn’t matter where you are teaching, how many students you teach at a time or how much experience you have… the challenges are still the same!

I know how difficult it is trying to find quality resources that work for your music classes, particularly when you have such a variety of classes to prepare for. That is why I came up with the idea of creating a set of resources that:

  • Inspired and motivated the students in a class situation
  • Cut down on preparation time
  • Taught theory in a non-traditional way
  • Had a unifying “theme” - so that if a class enjoyed a particular activity there would always be another “level” to move on to.
  • Involved some interesting “trivia” to catch the attention of the students
  • Were suitable for junior high level - but adaptable for a variety of age levels
  • Were self checking, so that they could be given to a relief or substitute teacher as an “instant” lesson plan solution

On the next page you´ll discover set one of these materials, and you´ll be able to preview how these can work for your music class.

These materials are available at a very reasonable cost - and you can purchase them yourself or get your school to purchase a site license. Quality materials always cost money, but we have made these materials available for a fraction of the cost of a class set of traditional books.

Instant Print Music Lessons is different to anything else available.

Why?

Because it is focused on your needs as a music teacher, specifically:

  • Each package has one unifying theme that is the same for every handout in the series. This makes the students look forward to the activity!
  • Each package has a variey of difficulty levels, ranging from quite simple (identifying notes on the stave, and counting beats, through to moderately advanced
  • The materials are fully printable, as many times as you need, with NO restrictions or annoying copyright issues.
  • As a teacher if you purchase a module of Instant Print Music Lessons for yourself - it is yours for life. You can take it to whatever school you are teaching at.
  • If the school purchases a site license there is no limit to the number of teachers that can use it within that school.

“Instant Print Music Lessons” Does NOT:

Give you a full curriculum to follow

This would be silly - Every state, country and even school has its own curriculum which you as a teacher have to work within. You have pressures to make sure that what you are teaching covers the basic points within it. The last thing you need is some other stuff that requires particular steps followed in order to work.

YOU are a qualified, and experienced music teacher, or you wouldn’t be viewing this webpage. At the fun Music Company we will not try and tell you how to teach a concept to your classes, as YOU know the best way to communicate with your children.

Tell you WHAT to teach

A lot of music theory books are structured with a rigid, inflexible approach that goes through a set of concepts in order - and you´ll find that half the class might have missed some important concepts. Our Instant Print Music Lessons are there to help you, and support the concepts that you are currently teaching.
